Background
Abdel Ali (Abdelrahman Sahban Ali) is a CFA Charterholder and an MBA graduate with a specialty in Real Estate & Sustainability. Previously, Abdel worked on the investment team at Relay Ventures, and with Aon, where he helped institutional clients with assets between $100 million and $2+ billion.
In his role as Venture Associate at R-LABS, Abdel will apply his data-centric, analytical approach to ingest industry problems and work alongside entrepreneurs to progress projects through the R-LABS Venture Process.
As co-founder of the Black Graduate Business Network (BGBN) at Schulich, Abdel is passionate about empowering future entrepreneurs and members of the black community.
