Background
George Carras is a professional engineer, entrepreneur and trusted innovator in the Canadian real estate industry. In 1995, George founded his first company, RealNet Canada Inc., to solve the problem of inadequate market information related to real estate investment and development. The company grew over the next two decades and became the official source of industry information to over 45,000 real estate professionals, industry associations and government institutions. In 2018, George founded R-LABS to solve major problems in real estate though purpose-driven venture building and has since co-founded two game-changing companies, OneClose Inc. and R-Hauz Solutions.
George is a past president of NAIOP and a collaborative industry leader who has co-founded several industry initiatives such as the NAIOP REX awards program and the Developers Den Case Competition. Across all of his initiatives, George is a passionate mentor to purpose-driven entrepreneurs and innovators and loves visioneering a better future by connecting people, ideas, technology and capital.
