Amar Singh

Executive Vice President, Commercial Advisory & Strategy of Infrastructure Ontario

Background

Amar Singh is the Executive Vice President of IO’s Commercial Advisory and Strategy practice.

This combined practice provides targeted commercial advice, complex deal-making and digital capabilities to aid government in tackling some of its most intractable public-policy challenges.

Amar and his team are accustomed to leading files through politically charged and commercially complex situations where the stakes are high and solutions require a first principles perspective to challenge the status quo, define an executable vision and relentlessly and systematically drive toward outcomes.

Almost all engagements require deeply strategic policy partnerships across ministries, central agencies and other levels of government.  In many situations, his team is able to bring an enterprise lens that harness functional capabilities across IO to bring forward unique commercial solutions.

Amar is a Certified Public Accountant and Wilfrid Laurier MBA.  He is a career public servant – spanning policy and execution-oriented roles in healthcare reform, economic and environmental portfolios, and wide scale program review.  IO provides an opportunity for him and his team to work with partners across government, governments, and the market to maximize our public impact and truly live IO’s vision of creating a connected, modern, and competitive Ontario.
