The BIM Data Integrity Layer for the Built Environment
Problem Overview
Complex facility owners waste 13% of their construction and operating budget retroactively rebuilding asset data. Building information is created once and then lost: parameters are missing, naming and classification conventions differ between teams, and models are checked only after the fact, when errors are expensive to correct. The result is data gaps, inconsistencies, fragmentation and poor context across the handover from design and construction into facility operations, leaving owners without a reliable single source of truth for the assets they have just paid to build.
Solution Overview
Helex owns the BIM data integrity layer from design authoring through to building operations, letting owners set, verify and enforce data standards so the information arriving in operations is a reliable single source of truth.
The platform works in three stages:
- Standardize: cloud-based management of data, model and project standards, with parameters and classifications (OmniClass, UniFormat, MasterFormat) defined once at the account level
- Populate: AI/ML auto-population of asset information, extracting details such as model numbers and capacities from attached cut-sheets and O&M manuals
- Verify: automated daily compliance checks that keep every Revit model aligned with owner requirements from day-one modelling to handover
